Dr. Amin Esfahani is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Central Valley Skin Specialists, where he is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-focused dermatologic care to the Central Valley community.
Education & Training
Dr. Esfahani began his academic journey at the University of Toronto, where he completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies. He went on to earn his medical degree from New York Medical College, followed by an internship at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate.
He completed his dermatology residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident, a role reserved for residents demonstrating strong leadership and clinical excellence.
Leadership & Academic Involvement
Throughout his medical training, Dr. Esfahani has been deeply involved in leadership, education, and academic advancement. He served as president of the student governing body at New York Medical College and contributed to national dermatology standards through service on the ACGME Review Committee for Dermatology.
He has also mentored medical students and healthcare professionals and contributed to peer-reviewed publications and medical textbook chapters, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing dermatologic education and research.

Dr. Esfahani has been recognized for both his clinical excellence and compassionate approach to patient care. His honors include:

Commitment to the Central Valley
Dr. Esfahani relocated to the Central Valley in 2021, where he quickly developed a strong connection to the community. His experiences serving this diverse region highlighted the need for accessible, personalized dermatology care and ultimately inspired the creation of Central Valley Skin Specialists.
As a local physician, he is committed to improving skin health outcomes for patients of all ages through thoughtful evaluation, clear communication, and evidence-based treatment plans.
